Fursuit Care Guide

Heads are spot cleaned only with a cloth and soap.  Use a separate cloth soaked in water to remove the soap residue.  The outside and inside of the head can be sprayed with an alcoholic cleaning spray.  These methods apply to both foam and resin based heads.

Handpaws are placed in the washer with setting on delicate/handwash, cool/cold water, and regular detergent and fabric softener.

To dry, they are laid on a flat surface, preferably under a fan, and periodically turned and brushed until dry.

Bodysuits are placed in the washer inside-out with the setting on delicate/handwash, cool/cold water, and regular detergent and fabric softener.

If the fursuit is digitigrade, the pillows are removed and placed in the washer with the bodysuit.
